My 1982 12a was running as smooth as silk until I parked it for some much needed body work and paint. Driving home from the shop, it developed a miss at anything above an idle. I have checked vacuum hoses, pulled the carb and reset it, new plugs and wires. Seems like it is losing power as I drive and the rpms increase. Idles smoothly at 500. I am running MSD 6A on the leading and a Blaster 2 coil on the trailing. Timing is set at zero for smogging.

I am a little mystified as to the source of the problem. Any thoughts?
