Some noobish questions

Ok, I'm very new to rotories and have some questions. My first is I was told its ok to put some oil in the gas tank when I fill up. Is this a proper thing to do to help keep the engine in good running condition? My second is what's a good aftermarket stereo install kit? I wanted to get the one off of crutch field but I've heard mixed reviews about it. I don't have the know-how to make my own, so please don't suggest that. Thanks in advance

Premixing 2-stroke oil in the gas is done when someone has removed the stock metering oil pump (MOP/OMP). The system injects a small amount of engine oil into the rotor housings to lubricate the seals. If the system is working, there is no need to premix unless you'd like to be extra careful.

Do a search on "premix" to learn more. There should even be a couple active threads in this section at the moment.

I tried searching premix and it came up with some different topics completely lol. Thanks though, I'll have to ask if he did anything like that.

Some people like to premix even if they still use the omp. There is no harm in it other than it will cost you more money to do so.
