hi fellas im planning to do a swap on my ae86 corolla i was just wondering since im new to the rotary scene if i should go 12a or 13b i want to stay n/a . im looking for just a nice fast little car. if you you guys can give me some of your opinions i would apreciate it. or if you knoe someone who's swap a rotary into a toyota and can give me some pointers that would be great.
Get a good running/low mile motor from a 2nd gen S5 (89-91), open it up, give it a nice port (bridge or aggressive streetport), some new seals, and slap on a well tuned carb.
Or, if you're feeling adventurous, a 13b-MSP (Renesis) out of the RX-8. That's a whole other can of worms though.

Between 13b and 12a?
13b.
More power, more parts readily available.

well it sounds like im gonna have to go with a 13b since it would be easier to find parts, thanks fellas for your help. now lets see how hard its gonna be to find a engine. thanks again
take it from a first gen owner, if you can find what your looking for engine parts wise, your spending near as much for the 13b. plus i hear the 13b though, its slightly larger and more efficient being fuel injected, is lighter than the 12a block is, i've been thinking about doing a 13b swap on mine.
