welcome to the board. :)
i'd say go with a 13B simply because 12A parts are only going to get harder to find whereas 13B parts are still readily available. |
Get a good running/low mile motor from a 2nd gen S5 (89-91), open it up, give it a nice port (bridge or aggressive streetport), some new seals, and slap on a well tuned carb.
Or, if you're feeling adventurous, a 13b-MSP (Renesis) out of the RX-8. That's a whole other can of worms though. |
from ri huh ..im from cranston ...get a 13b

13b, overall more dispalacment.
but idk, i think a blacktop 20v 4age would be hott. they even come with factory ITBs |
13b peripheral port

um is like saying; ohh im going to walmart, should i go walking? or go in the car?

Between 13b and 12a?
13b. More power, more parts readily available. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPiyrL6SwnI |

well it sounds like im gonna have to go with a 13b since it would be easier to find parts, thanks fellas for your help. now lets see how hard its gonna be to find a engine. thanks again

take it from a first gen owner, if you can find what your looking for engine parts wise, your spending near as much for the 13b. plus i hear the 13b though, its slightly larger and more efficient being fuel injected, is lighter than the 12a block is, i've been thinking about doing a 13b swap on mine.
