Should I get a full intake ? FC
Should I get a full intake ? FC
My freinds keep on telling me to get a intake but I don't really see the point because I don't think the performance gains will be that not noticeable.
It's got the stock system with a k/n filter . Not the pod filter
Is it a good investment for power ?

I'm guessing from your profile that this is an NA. The stock intake is not restrictive on anything short of an extensive ported NA w/ custom intake manifold. It is also a "cold air" intake since it pulls from the bumper area, unlike 90% of cone filter setups that sit in the engine bay drawing in hot air. Even a cone filter setup with an enclosure and "cold air" source will net you a negligible difference in performance.
Now if it's a turbo car, that's a different story. The stock turbo intake has many bends and is in fact restrictive.

just save your money. the k&n in the airbox is plenty. you would do better with a full exhaust or a tune if you want a little more power without breaking the bank. and as mentioned above, a cone in the engine bay is just sucking hot air.
