http://pensacola.craigslist.org/cto/2703841371.html
he send me another picture of the motor, it looks like its had more than 78 miles or maybe it's just been sitting... and about that problem with it not going over 3.5k, is it an easy fix? I am thinking about buying this in a few days.. I would like some people to tell me if I'm biting off more than I can chew haha. thanks

Well first of all, running that turbo on the stock fuel system will blow the engine.
Plus, there's no info in the ad about the rest of the car. Judging by the lack of the proper fuel system and the monster tach, it's a hacked up shitbox owned by some kid.

he said he had some 750cc secondary fuel injectors put in, is that enough? And what about the price, is it good? I'm looking to put a lot of time and money into this car

It could just be the picture, but I don't even see a hood scoop on that car. Did you ask if it is a real Turbo II or just a non-turbo car with a Turbo II engine stuffed in it? FYI a real Turbo II car has a stronger transmission, LSD, and halfshafts.
No, not with the engine problems. I would say its worth maybe $1,500 if the body and paint are good, and there are no other major mechanical problems. Otherwise, about $500.
If you plan on putting a lot of money into a car, they why don't you buy a nice one and at least save a lot of time? You can get a decked-out FC RX-7 for $8-10K, which would be about half the money that it would take to get that car into the same shape. Once you get enough posts then you can participate in the classified section of this website where you will almost always find better deals than craigslist.

Definitely agree with the guys here, don't do it. Find a nice 7 that you can enjoy for the time you have it, not one that you will have to pawn off on someone else because this kid didn't know what he was doing. Take it from the guys here, getting a nice one and enjoying it will be a much better alternative to buying someone else's headache.
