Question Short Shift?

S5 13BT stock Daily driver Is there really any need to convert to a short shift?
Slowly working on the car for performance mods any help will be much appreciated thanks

No, it's mostly preference. If you want one, do it. But if you like the way the shifter feels now, just leave it alone.

u can also get a miata short shifter for a mere 30 plus shipping and it comes with all the inner bushings. i have it and its nice and tight. close gears only prob was one time i shifted into 5th and ment to go into 3rd. but way better than stock in my opinion
