As a rookie member having no patients to sift through the oodles of info on this site.
I am looking for advise on replacement shocks front and back. Im not a track racer and just looking for a OEM.... ish set up.

Off the top of my head some common available choices are KYB, Tokico and Koni. Of those three, IMO, Koni (Yellow Sport) has the better quality but probably a little more expensive.

 

Im looking at the koni yellows Dam they are expensive. You add all the Canadian taxes and :

So do it yourself. Replacing suspension components on the fd is pretty easy and you don't need many tools to do it. You don't need any real mechanical skill to do it. You just need to be able to look at it and see what's in front of you

 

Agree. Installation is pretty straightforward with basic tools and a even a little wrenching experience. And that will almost halve the cost. But even if you can’t do it yourself, labor will be the same no matter what the quality of shocks. And price and cost are two different things.
