Shifter spring replacment question
When I recieved my car it was in pieces, so the transmission is out. I was able to knock the pin out that holds the shift connector block on and get the block out, but it did not slide off with ease, I had to wiggle it back and forth till it came off. Now there was a ton of debris down in there from where the bushings had collapsed, so I was going to run some emory cloth through the block so it would slide back in and let me realign the control rod easier. Has anyone had any experience with this? or is there an easier way to align the control rod?
Thanks
Thanks
