To refill the whole transmission? No. It would take forever, since there is only a very tiny passageway connecting the extension housing to the rest of the transmission. The way I use is take some 3/8" ID emissions hose and stick a funnel in the end. Zip tie the funnel somewhere in the engine bay & snake the hose down to the transmission filler port on the side of the transmission.

What year? I'm guessing FC from your profile. Always provide as much info as possible when making tech threads.

Nope..won't work. That area is just lubed with a shot of oil for the shifter bushings.
You have to fill the trans at the driver's side and fill it until it comes out the top fill plug and then Put the plug back in,tighten,,done.
Oil?..( I know this is coming)..75w90 or so.Synthetic is good,or semi synthetic.

Warm the oil up as much as you can
Get the largest diameter hose you can fit loosely into the fill hole
get a funnel and fill like RR88 said

fill with the appropriate amount

Filling my transmission when it was 30° out nearly killed me.
