There is nothing particularly different about the RX8 from any other Japanese car with the exception of the engine. But routine service on that is still pretty straightforward. If you have a trusted shop you have used in the past, they can probably handle most common maintenance.
Being in Malta it’s not likely you’ll get much response in the New Member section from those local to you. There is a European section in the regional forums. A quick search there showed a couple of older threads from owners in Malta. Checking the profiles of posters I noticed that ‘ITR’ in this thread was on the forum as late as January of this year.
