can anyone tell me where i can get a firewall/steering column grommet or complete engine bay grommet kit to suit a series 1 rx7 ?

There are no complete grommet sets available that I'm aware of. You can create a want to buy ad in the marketplace section reference the rubber grommet that goes around the steering column and seal around the firewall. Its likely that someone has one. But they are different between manual and power steering so it will be helpful to provide details about your car.
