There might be a thread about this somewhere, but i couldnt quite find it, so sorry for the repost if this is indeed one. I am having a problem with ny secondary turno spooling improperly. The first hits about 10-12 Psi and the at about 5k rpm in 3rd gear it drops to about 0-2 then slowly creeps up to about 3-4 max. I have done a lot of reading and i am guessing that it is my pre-cat because i dont have a downpipe yet. Is this a possible issue? Also, if it is, what is the best downpipe to get that will bolt onto the stock Cat. I cant put a midpipe because of CA emissions. Any input would be great. Thanx guys!

 

It is indeed possible that you have a clogged pre-cat. I actually have an extra Bonez downpipe from rx7.com that I'll gladly sell you if you are looking for a used downpipe. Otherwise, I'd recommend that same downpipe from rx7.com.

Beyond the potentially clogged pre-cat, you probably want to read the links in the 3rd gen FAQ thread to troubleshoot the issue further.

Troubleshooting sequentials is time consuming so be patient.
