i need help i am geting a s7 (FD3S)rx7 soon and wanting to put my s5 (FC3S)rx7 13bpp race motor into the s7 as it is a road car i have done a bit of research but all i have found out oviously is i need custom motor mounts as the a very difarent between the s5 and s7 do the s7 bolt up to s5 motor same with clutch? dose the s5 sump fit past the s7 cross members etc etc any help would be great!!!

 

This is actually covered here. Will a 3rd Gen RX-7 (FD) twin turbo engine (13B-REW) fit in my 2nd gen RX-7?
But in reverse since it is talking about swapping the 13B-REW into a FC.

It basically says there is a bunch of custom work to be done.

I believe the bolt patterns for the gearbox, flywheel, clutch is the same but I haven't compared them .
