s4 without any direction
Hey guys I picked up a 88 FC vert, and I'm still deciding which direction I want to go with it I know for sure I want to turbo it. Any ideas or suggestions?

Ok..you just got a Vert and want to know stuff about it?Read some threads in the Sec Gen Specific Sections.The Sec gen Archives is a Gold mine of info too!
I started out with just a car and a Haynes manual.Now I am blazin a TII with a Haltech ECU..all courtesy of information found on this Forum.

Just giving you a quick guide ( I hope ),
I'm not to sure about what the requirements are (suspention and other non-engine related) for different driving conditions I.E. drifting, drag, street, ect. So that's up to you. But take a good look at the different methods of asperation for the rotary engine. Some methods such as carberation, can be somewhat cheaper and provide sufficient power throughout the band. This could be a bad choice for you if you don't like messing with a carb every now and then. Turbo is a great choice for over all power, especially in the top end, and there are also many ways of achieving forced induction.
Look in to the pro's and con's of each system. The most important factor is what you want. Then figure out the best way to get yourself there. And will your wallet support your dream...
I found a way to have my rotary and bug (cake and ice cream) all mixed in. Now I can do what I want to my rotary (no more smog for me) and make some cheaper power for my nice classic. I'm going carb'ed first, then add on a turbo draw through, then make it a fully programed EFI in the end... Good luck!!!!

I've always wanted to build a vert with an NA 4-rotor and a widebody. There's a suggestion for you, panda. You do have a spare 20 grand lying around and good fabrication skills, right? 
In all seriousness, do you see yourself using this car as a daily driver? Going to track days or autocross events? Or do you prefer to go fast in a straight line? Does it need to stay emissions-legal? How much money are you looking to put into it? Those are the types of questions you need to ask yourself.
