s4 turbo II parts question

so ive been looking around for parts and looked on autozone and advanced and saw they still sell alot of the parts new/rebuilt.... The TII axles are the main thing im looking for and advanced sells em for 70 a peice. oreillys sells em for about the same price, and autozone does too.... used everyone wants atleast 150 for a set....

starter 60+ for a used starter, but advanced sells em rebuilt 65. I double checked to see if i put the right car in it, and it is for a 88 turbo so its pulling up the right parts......

has anyone else ever ordered the parts through the store??? i dont wanna buy the stuff and than get the wrong part, i know ill know as soon as i get home, but i guess im just confused on why everyone wants so much if you can order them new/rebuilt for less or about the same and get a warranty??? thanks for any help.

I've found that re-man stuff is typically N/A and listed to fit both. Or it's listed as TII but is actually N/A. Atleast at places like AutoZone, etc...

If you plan on buying re-man I'd suggest taking your original as a sample to compare. That way when the guy at the counter says it's right you can clearly show him it's not and their system is wrong.

why have people been asking this same question over and over?

about the only parts you will find that actually are for the turbo models are the starter, alternator and water pump. the axles are non turbo because they're fucktards and refuse to correct their listings.
