S4 TII emission removal question.

Just picked up a Turbo II from a fellow member a couple days ago. Was planning as using it for my donor but I'm now gonna use it for my build project.

I bought it with full knowledge that it was having issues running: Mazda RX7 | Owners, Parts, Repair, Performance, Mods, Wheels - RX7Club.com. The previous owner removed the rats nest, emissions, OMP and blocked upper coolant ports. From reading the forums it seems like the block off plates were done correctly but I wasn't sure on the vacuum lines after the emissions and rats nest was removed.

I found the diagram at the bottom here on the forums. What an amazing diagram and thank the rotary gods for these forums.

After using this diagram I found so many issues. The line from the LIM to FPR wasn't connected. The ABV wasn't connected. None of the nipples on the TB were capped. The check valve was never removed from the rats nest. I guess it gives me an excuse to do a S5 turbo.

Now my question is about the 3 nipples on the back of the TB that are labeled do not remove. They are for the OMP? If so, since the OMP is removed these should be capped off?

The three "do not remove" nipples are sources of air before the throttle body, needed for the injector air bleeds and metering oil nozzles. They aren't vacuum lines. These lines are pretty key for proper fuel atomization and metering oil pump function. If you don't have the metering oil pump, that one can be blocked off.

Thank you. So block off the the lower nipple and run new lines from the upper 2 nipples to the corresponding areas on the LIM. That sounds correct? When replacing these lines is there a specific PSI rating you should use?

I would restore the air bleeds to stock. They make a huge difference in fuel atomization at low loads.
