Hey, I have a 87 turbo2 I check all wiring checked all fuses and ego relay changed fuel filter also fuel pump relay. Swapped in another fuel pump and still the same problem. When I crank the car it starts and then dies out. The problem started when I was driving the car and it cut off on me. I checked if the pump is getting power and a good ground and it is. When I crank the car I had my buddy look at my fpr and it's not showing no fuel pressure at all I don't know what to look at next. Please help thanks.

can it be bad? of course it can. i have no idea how often they go bad though.

as for testing it, i've never had the need to do that, so i don't know. do you have a copy of the FSM? there should a procedure outlined in there for testing.

Thanks a lot i really do appreciate it. I figured out it is a bad afm by checking the resistance.
