Angry RX7 S4 Fuelpump Wiring not receiving any power

Ok, first technical question post of 3,000,000 lol

I have just converted my Series 4 EFI NA Rx7 with a Series 5 FC3S Halfcut engine. After a long agonizing week, I have replaced most of the loom in the car (except for the rear loom as it seems to plug into the series 5 loom and dropped the new engine in.

Installed a external Bosch 044 to the underside of the car and wired it up to the existing fuelpump wiring, Black Wire (neg) and Blue Wire (pos)

The problem I am having is that the pump isnt priming, for that fact, it isnt even turning on, I ran a pos wire from the battery and earth to the pump and the pump to test and the pump works, i even cranked the car over and the engine fired, HIYO!

So the next thing i tried was testing the voltages with a multi meter, nothing from the rear harness, then tried the relay connection at the front (a little metel bracket bolted on the lefthand side of the engine bay near the light?) and still had nothing.

My question IS, is there a security feature on the s5 ignition system that forbids the fuel pump relay working or is the fuelpump relay part on my loom f***ed? (note there is another plug on the ignition barrel that has two wires (red and black) soldered onto the ignition which appears to have nothing to plug into on the loom, is this my problem?)

Thankyou in advance if you can solve my problem!!!

The pump does not turn on w/key to on but the engine not running. To get it to prime w/key to on and engine not running you need to jumper the fuel check connector.

I just ended up wiring the pump up as a separate circuit with a fuse, i think ive got issues with a s4 harness connected to the s5 harness, i couldnt find a s5 rear harness and the rest of the rear end harness isnt working, im great when it comes to mechanical things but when it coming to auto electrics....im a self confessed fool lol, i think i get my auto elect to get the rest done!

with issues like that, sometimes it IS easier to just run new wiring since it is so easy to wire up.
