I love the fb fc and fd for different reasons. My fd is an autocross car, my fb is my road race car, and my fc is my dd

FD for its timeless look.

Although I wouldn't mind an FC vert as a daily commuter once I get real good with these engines.

I watched a ton of Hot Version episodes and the FDs we're beating everyone. I figured that it would be a descent car to get if I ever wanted to get in to some sort of motorsport.

Can't go past the lines on an FD Plus the thrill of the twins spooling up - nothing like it!

In the era when Japanese sports cars were rife.....the 90s.......the FD was the sexiest one of the lot. Even to this day where the mr2 300zx fto etc look a little dated, the FD is still one of the best looking cars on the road.

I've always had my eye on the 7. When I first learned about them, I wanted an FD but as i got older my interest switched over to an FC. Also, FC's seem to spend "less time broken"

For me...well, I haven't decided on an RX-7 yet...but I'm definitely considering it. I had a relative with an FB back in the day. I've always liked the look and there's a perceived simplicity to it (at least from the outside looking in). I also seem to be finding some pretty decent ones around in good nick. I like the FC as well, but I'm not yet finding the same selection that I am with the 1st gens.

Gran turismo driving the rx7 was awesome. Then when I went into 9th grade the fast and the furious came out and that red rx7 was so sick at that time. Think it was 2000-2001 when the movie first came out. Now I finally have a red FD 15 years later haha.

I love the first ten due to it's low weight and smaller size. You can stuff anything in to it and the reared is very durable. They are easy to modify and a blast to drive. Gen 2 models are heavier and even though they handle great I just feel the Gen 1 is a much more fun experience

The FDs are beautiful cars, but out of my price range.

I've always loved the FB styling, so I decided to go with that over the FC.

Like several have already mentioned, I bought an FD because I fell in love with its looks. It's a beautiful car, even to this day.

i don't favor any gen over the other
but i just feel at home in my 86 .
in 1996 i bought my very first car a 1988 chrysler lebaron. convertible
four days later it just seized the engine and blew up
went back to the dealer and he said ok just pick a car on the lot and continue your payments ,
and there she was my first 86 FC sunroof cruise 5.speed
and that was in 1996 so it was as good as new then .
20 years later i cannot imagine life without one .
would like to get a fd but hell man.. . they're expensive if they are all original in good shape .

If you can't afford the FD then definitely go with an FC, I purchased my FC in order to learn more about rotaries so one day I will have more experience when I own an FD.

The iconic cars of Japan in the 90s are the Rx7 (FD), NSX, GTR, Supra.
You can't go wrong with any of them.

FD for me. I grew up in the 90's Japanese sports car era. Owned a Twin Turbo Z in the 90's and I always wanted an FD because of the styling. The Z was the mid ground for me between the Supra and the RX7.

Ryosuke Takahashi makes me question my sexuality,
but also because blocky 80s style hatchback, affordable, and reasonably reliable.
Plus Braps.

Fell in love with the look of the FC and I would just browse on Craigslist in class. Finally found a clean one and I love it, but if I had the money I'd definitely get an FD.

Love the classic look of the FB. If I had the money I would own an FD as well. But hands down FB just looks better with age.
