I have a 91 Vert (the slow child by the sounds of it) And im currently building it to be a fun autocross/daily driver. I do find im getting beat in straight line by just about anything. But im definitely not slow at the track. From what i hear im working with a much disadvantage then the coupes or 88 Verts, but heck, i have this car now, its in top condition, and im not exactly in the mood to toss everything away for a coupe thats probably not going to be in as good condition as my vert. I figure with some well thought weight reduction i could be with everyone else. Any suggestions?

I bought the best car I could find. Found a convertible in in mint shape.
Leather seats have zero cracking and the top is perfect.
57,000 miles. Already had aftermarket sway-bars and springs/struts.
Your in FL with pretty much year round top down driving.
