rx7 air conditioning options

is there more than one air compressor that will work in a 1983 rx7 gsl? i see several different ones on various parts sites saying it is a fit for my car. i have a non functioning 4 seasons and i have seen sanden models also listed but they look nothing like the one in my car. the hose connectors are different. my local dealer wanted almost $800.00 to replace mine and they werent even sure the one they found would fit. thanks for looking,

Four seasons model is similar to mine (but i have an 85). It is called an Everco. You can pick one up from either Autozone.com or Napaonline.com.

I know that you can get a new one from NAPA. It is part number # TEM 264315. It is kinda pricey though...$152.00. Good luck.
