i have a 1988 rx7 turbo II and when i let it sit on my slightly inclined driveway overnight and then the next morning go to start it it will start and then rev high then drop then rev high and then stall. what cuold be the problem?

 

Make sure that the cold start cam and thermowax is working correctly. It is located on the rear of the throttle body and holds the throttle open during cold starts for that high 1500 RPM idle that then gradually drops down.

Adjust the TPS.

 

could also be that you're low on coolant or an air pocket in the cooling system

 

i know its not coolant level because that is fine
