WA Rim Question

I am Looking at new rims and found some i am interested in, and i am not sure what my offset is and was wondering if you guys could help me figure out if these will fit or not? the car's suspesion is stock, might be on lowering springs havent gotten that far if anything it is dropped an inch maybe inch and a half at most but was wondering if i would have to do any fender work or anything else! these are the measurments

Size: 18x9
Pattern: 5x114.3
Offset: +30mm
Hub Bore: 73.1mm

What is the car? A '93 like your profile mentions?

The center bore for an FD wheel is 67.1mm, so a set of very thin hub centering rings would need to be tracked down.

A stock FD rim is 16x8 +50mm offset, so you're looking at an additional 33mm extending out, and 7mm away from the strut. http://www.1010tires.com/wheeloffsetcalculator.asp. I don't know how much space is available on an FD, but I doubt you have 30+mm available at the outside edge. That's a lot.

Yes 93 fd sorry for not posting that. would it have help if I also mentioned im already running a set ok enkie 18x8's, well thats what I bought the car with! So its only a little wider then what im running now!

Thoughts?

It depends on how low the car is and what size tires you plan on running. Your best bet for any oversized rim/lowering combination is to get a set of coilovers so you can play with the height and camber.

actually that is my next step once i get the rims! i was just making sure that i would have enough clearance to run these rims for a little bit until i get the coilovers that i am looking for!

Realistically with coilovers you can make those fit.

Well i found the rims i have been looking for a pair of Rota D-Force Rims! The Only Size I Have Found with the FD Bolt Pattern is

18x9.5 with a +40 5x114! would these wheels be a closer fit or worse bc of the width increase of half an inch?? thank you for all the help!

18x9.5 with a +40 will fit easily both rear and front.

Depending on what size tires you use up front, you should be ok.

I'd talk to Rishie at AutoRND.com who is a sponsor here on the forum. He sells Rota wheels and many others and can recommend a well fitting setup that will fit your needs and budget.

so i have come to the conclusions that those wont do! but i have also come to liking the grid lookon the fd3s! one question is do those bolt up nicely with the 38mm offset or the 20mm offset, or is there more work involved that people who roll grids have done?
