Rich and bogged out.
After inspection of my vehicle while getting it ready for sale, it was noticed the cruise control cable was getting hung up on the throttle cable. If these are not the correct terms, forgive me. After fixing that the vehicle started up running really rich and with what seems like an exhaust leak.
Could it be the vehicle was tuned with the cable hung up and that all that needs to be done is re-map some settings?
Or...does anyone know what is happening? My mechanic was supposed to look at it today but couldn't.
Thank you for any and all suggestions.

Please put your car year and series if you ask a question. We can't guess. It gets quicker replies if you do.
1993 FD .( I check profiles.)
If the car has a Standalone,it could need a fine tune IF the cable was hindering the Throttle body from opening/closing.
The Stock Ecu can't be "fine tuned" so that is not an option here.
Exhaust leak has nothing to do with this problem,so that is a separate issue to be addressed and fixed.

Thank you and I apologize for forgetting that all important info.
Yes I do have a standalone. Apexi power fc.
Would you be able to help me figure out what to fine tune?
The cable WAS absolutely hindering the throttle body from opening/closing.
Thank you again.

MISTERSTYX69 I do have the Apexi Power FC with handheld.
I've put the intercooler piping back together and tightened everything back up and it
won't start now. Is this something you could help me with.
There shouldn't be anything wrong with the vehicle. They had it out driving it to check it last week and it was great other than the idle.
The mechanic said it looked like the exhaust leak was at the wastegate. Could it be that it
is just open because of the settings on the ECU?
Thank you ANYONE for help.
