Any one know if the inner door handle cups are interchangeable? Drivers side left works on drivers side right?

Nope they aren't unfortunatly as everything is flipped around.

Someone may be able to confirm this 100% but I'm 95% sure they aren't interchangeable

 

Ya I'll make sure I know the panels and mechanisms and interior door handles are NOT interchangeable but I'll check some more hoping they made the cup piece interchangeable ? ☺ thanks

We have an unwritten rule that one needs to put the details of the car in question in their question. Not everyone is going to dig up previous posts or look at your profile to find out what you have to answer a question. Putting your car in your signature is a good idea as it curbs misinformation.

SA/FB are swappable between LHD and RHD, same with the FC. It's been a bit since I looked at a FD with a complete interior, but it seems Mazda made it region-specific with certain parts. Funny that the RX-8 can be swapped too...

 

i would think that the door panels would be the same regardless which side the steering wheel is on.

 

I thought the same, however after searching for door panels for my tan toblack swap,I realized the buttons for the driver side would not match to a RHD door panel. Thankfully,I was able to find some LHD panels today!
