replacing stock bov with an aftermarket one

possible? was wondering because i've got an extra turbo xs one laying around and by the looks of it i could take off the stock one and weld on the new bov to the pipe that comes off the turbo and put a breather filter at the end of the air filter. jus wondering if this was possible couldnt see any one with a setup that could help out so yea. lmk.

Thanks

First I would ask why do you even want to run a BOV?
Extensive testing has been done and the pros and cons argued on my main forum ausrotary.
I will post the thread link later, but I have come to the conclusion that a BOV is a waste of time/money and it attracts police attention (at least in australia). I have removed mine and have had no problems whatsoever...

The BOV really should be positioned closer to the throttle body but I guess in a stock setup the only place it will really fit is the turbo outlet pipe.

Keep in mind you need to plug the nipple on the TID when you do this.

Also, the car will tend to run quite rich for a second or so at shifts if you open vent the BOV on the stock ECU.
