Removing / Replacing ignition key?
I bought a 91 FC vert last year, haven't done much with it but I finally have some time and money now.
When I bought it, the key was in the ignition and the car started (after the seller said it was dead), so I was happy. Got it home and turned it off and you can see that the key was actually broken off in the ignition. I'm unable to remove the piece inside.
I've got the steering column taken apart and can get to the key, but I don't see any real way to remove it short of dremeling a slot in the smooth bolt and trying it that way. Are there any writeups on how to remove/replace this? I've also had a friend recommend a push-start (just removing the entire key assembly).
Anyone have any ideas/recommendations?

You can swap out the ignition switch,OR take it off and bring it to a locksmith, who will get the key out and make you a new one.
The ignition switch is held on by 2 rivet like bolt connectors, and if you slot them, you can unscrew them, take the ignition off the column and disconnect the switch and Voila!
