removing the rear seats in my FB
hello! i got a new fb project im prepping for and im having problems removing the back seats... in the front/bottom part of the seat there is a lil handle which i twisted and pulled out, when it came out it has a metal wire hanging off the other end and it looks like its been snapped off.. i know the back seats are rare in the U.S. but they look like kiddie bumper chairs and theres no way they'll get any use from me... im hoping to figure this out before i go looking for my prybar! lol..

You have to remove the seat bottom first. Push down on the front edge of each 'butt well'. There are 2 clips that hold the front of the seat bottom. At the back of the seat bottom are 2 metal loops that have bolt through them into the body. For the seat back, remove the metal strip that holds the hatch carpet at the top rear of the back, then pull the carpet back. The bottom of the seat back is held in by a pivot on each side, each of which has 2 bolts.
I have rear seats in mine, they are left folded down all the time for the extra hatch space. That's much simpler than removing them.
