Recolouring velour seats
Recolouring velour seats
Hello! Has anyone here tried to change the colour of velour seats?
I have used vinyl spray paint on vinyl seats before and it works well. There are a few products out there that claim to be "fabric paint" that can be used to change the colour of fabric upholstery (including velour). They claim that they seep into the fabric, don't fade, are water and UV resistant, don't rub off, don't stain clothes, etc. I would have thought they would make the material stiff and crusty but the manufacturers claim they don't.
Does anyone here have actual experience with using fabric paint on car seats? I'd like to give it a try on mine.

My cousin used a fabric paint on his seats. Don't remember the name of the product but I do remember the way it stained clothing. It took a few weeks before you could even think about sitting in the car with a white t-shirt.
