Rebuild and port starting problems HELP rewritten

Ok so i had a pro rebuild and mild port my 13b n/a for my 88 rx7. Ill try to give as much info as possible for you guys on what i have done and what is going on.

After the rebuild the reassembly went by the book and when i tried starting it it would just flood. So i researched and adjusted everything to be more lean as well as i tried pull starting it.

It would start i ran very very crappy well after a long and kinda half *** timing it runs alot better and will also start just from the starter. Now Ive ran into another problem. It will start but after about a min it will just die no spudering or roughness just from 4000rpm to 0.

Checked my fuel pump and its getting 3.8volts as well as it seems like when im trying to start it sometimes it floods, then other times its bone dry lean.

Any help or pointers would be great. if you have any other questions plz ask

3.8 volts at the pump?! You should have at least 12 volts at the fuel pump.

OK i check my fuel pump and found that the reason why it was only getting 3.8v was because my battery was dead. so, recharged battery and got it started again. same problem got it started and it runs great trying to get the idle down by adjusting air and fuel screws and it starts right back up everytime i miss adjust. then it will sound better and better then stop. just complete stop of firing. i dont think its flooding because there are no signs of it and after it stops firing it wont start again. any ideas

Why was the battery dead? Your alternator may not be working right, which would drain the battery and eventually kill the engine.

What RPM is it stalling at? If it's fine until it warms up, then stalls out when the RPMs drop below ~1k RPM, it may just be a large vacuum leak.

I also wouldn't suggest playing with the air bypass screw or variable resistor until you figure out this issue. You'll probably just make more work for yourself later.
