For some of the rarer JDM items you can just get them off yahoo auctions japan through a mail forwarding service. There's a few that let you buy stuff off an english translated page directly and they'll ship it to your US address. It'll take awhile and cost a decent amount in shipping, but it helps for rare parts.

For example, a set of folding mirrors for a 240sx cost maybe $250 on ebay. They're like $40-50 on yahoo auctions japan, cost maybe $100 in shipping/fees, and you get a much better selection.

What model of rx7? Fc or fd?

I have the shine auto re amemiya fc2000 replica bumper. I used PIAA Dot approved driving lights.

These are not what he is talking about. The RE Hurricane FD used a new type of RE light that is either part of the kit or a one off. It LOOKS similar until you closely look at how the actual lights are mounted.

thats the newer H11 Hi/Lo HID kit for the sleek lights. its probably because of the widebody and slightly larger lights that make them look differently mounted.

Please look closely at picture 2 on this website: http://www.superstreetonline.com/fea.../photo_02.html

The mounting of the light (the buckets themselves) and the second (outside) light itself are different than what is in the typical RE sleeks.

See original sleeks here: http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/r...ts-p-6083.html
