quick question on wategate actuator

1987 gxl jdm tii swap. the last time i worked on the car i did the necessary re-wiring to the orange x15 and x16 plugs(swapped in the tii harness with the motor) and have not touched it since because i started saving for a new TPS and new gaskets. I removed the spring out of my Kinugawa wastegate actuator because it was a 1bar spring. Im on stock ecu not trying to make power or anything just run at stock level. so my question is out of the available other springs they offer which one would be better? they offer a 4.41 psi spring and a 7.35 psi spring. to my knowledge the stock actuator actuates at 6.6 psi. or do i need it to actuate at 6.6 psi? does this only change the boost threshold? for instance 6.6 psi=boost at 4k? / 4.4 psi = boost somewhere lower like 3200 rpm? ect. with the 1 bar spring in my boost gauge only read 3psi or so at 4k while driving soon after i would have to let off because it goes too lean i assume because my bad tps. im buying a new tps soon to hopefully fix that. thanks for the read and id be grateful for any questions or responses.
