Quick and easy question!

Hey guys, I've got an fd and I wanted to mount my fog lights. The car originally came with them, I have the interior switch and all the wiring is in place.
Thing is, I have no where to mount them!!
Does anyone have pictures of where and how they are mounted? Maybe I'm missing some brackets?
Thank you in advance!
Steven

after a full YEAR and almost 60 posts, i'm not sure you still qualify as a new member, but this is a freebie since i'm assuming this is NOT a common question.

i'm not intimate with the FD, so maybe SgtBlue may see this and have a specific A-B-C-answer for you, but for now i'll suggest you go to foxed.ca and download your FSM. should be no problem find what you seek in it.

Well... I have been here a while... But I still have SO much to learn...
I've searched both of my own FSMs but I can't find this anywhere... It must be a really simple bracket or something... But I'll check out the online ones in the meantime until someone with fog lights comes across this thread..

I have an R1, which didn't come with fog lights. But IIRC, the mounting 'assembly' is two piece (per light). There's a bracket that bolts to the car on either side of the bumper inlet with a small black plastic air deflector. The light housing itself has the wire pig-tail connector that plugs into the connector on the car. It also has (IIRC) two small pins that go into sockets on the bracket that locate the light housing. The housing then fastens to the bracket using a 10mm bolt.
If someone removed your lights, they may have left the bracket and housings fastened together and appear to be one piece. You may want look at them closely.

Thanks for the clarification! My fog lights do have all the inserts and bolts, but it seems like I'm missing the brackets and plastic deflector... There most definitely is nothing on my car like that. I do recall seeing these in pictures.. I will have to create a looking to buy thread for that! Thanks again
