I've had my FC a little over a year but i was wondering about my engine temp gauge. I have never seen it go past 1/8th and reading around, I have noticed a lot of people that have high temps average. so I'm wondering if maybe there is a bad connection or are these cars supposed to run that cool. its an NA 13b and the only mod (if you can call it that) is the intake.

You can't totally rely on the stock gauge. It should be around 1/4 on the gauge. 1/8 sounds a bit low but you would need to verify with another gauge because the stock gauge could be worn out.

But you can do the simple checks. Test the thermostat to make sure it isn't stuck open.

 

It depends on how long you are driving the car for too, if youre not driving it far then that could be the reason why it never goes past 1/8 or you could have a problem with the cooling system.
