Qtp electronic cut out
I WAS JUST WONDERING IF ADDING A QTP ELECTROnIC CUTOUT FOR MY RX7 IS Ok ? ND THT IS SAFE FOR THE MOTOR? im thinkin about putting it after my headers connect... its a Y type of piping nd it has a throttle body tht opens when i want it to open with the flip of a swtich.. and i just wanna knw wht u guys think.. i took it to the dyno with my new exhaust ( its a crappy 2" regular muffler from a muffler shop) nd it holds it back from the real potential dat it has..so yea let me knw wht you guys think..thankz

Turbo? NA?
If the car is turbo, you have boost creep to worry about. And it will be stupid loud.
If the car is NA, then you need to modify the aux ports to open via pressure from the air pump as when the cutout is opened, there won't be enough backpressure. And it will be stupid loud.
Most importantly, make sure that the manufacturer of the cutout guarantees that it will stand up to the considerable EGTs of the rotary.
Edit...You mentioned headers so that makes me think the car is NA....

The aux ports are a set of tertiary intake ports above the secondary ports on the end irons. They are controlled by small actuators mounted on the lower intake just above the exhaust manifold. These actuators run on air pressure, in stock form delivered by exhaust backpressure.
Check the 2nd gen FAQ for info on how to convert them to run via the air pump. Or just search the 2nd gen forum for "air pump 6 ports" or "air pump aux ports".

Don't just remove the port actuators. You will lose quite a lot of low end torque and gain nothing up top. The car will be slower.
S4 NAs used exhaust backpressure to actuate the ports. S5 cars use pressure from the air pump and a solenoid controlled by the ECU.
