AZ Puslation dampers

Is their anyway to get rid of them and replace them with something that couldn't possibly make my car explode? I tried to look it up myself but i couldn't find a good web site that told you all the necessary steps and parts you need to buy.

They can be replaced with a banjo bolt. There are a number of threads on it in the 2nd gen section; just search thread titles for "pulsation damper" or similar terms.

I've heard that the banjo bolt thing isn't a good idea. I have no personal experience with it, but it seems like something that would be on there for a reason.

I use a banjo with good year 50 psi fuel/ emission hose.. I removed the vacuum spider so I go from the filter to the fuel rail.. With no problems..

A friend of mine has an 88 also he has the vacuum spider .. Uses a banjo.. He pops fuel line a lot..
