Congrats! I'm a new owner as well (84 GSL-SE) and I've learned that these rotaries are a different breed for sure. Stuff that won't cause issues in piston engines will cause the rotary to stop running, especially if the car has higher mileage. However, once these little quirks are known, they are fun and durable. Enjoy!
