Problems with the FC

Hey there guys I just recently bought a 1990 Mazda Rx7 Fc and it's been great! I have a question about something thats been going on with it. When it's at idle, either cold or warm, it keeps on making a clicking type sound just behind the alternator driver side. I have no clue what this is and if anyone can help it will be much appreciated! I got a video for it here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kwHsKgQZ0vg&feature=player_embedded .

I didn't check the vid, but my first though would be one of the solenoids going nuts.

The emission solenoids and so on each have a two wire plug connected to them. So you might want to go through each one by disconnecting it and see which one is causing the repeated clicking.

What do I do to fix the problem once I figure which one it is? What would leaving one unplugged do?

Wouldn't it depend on which one is causing the problem? How about you figure out which one is the culprit and then go from there.

So I went thought unplugging one by one and it doesn't seem to do anything. Any other suggestions?

If you unplugged a solenoid and the clicking continues then it cannot possibly be caused by that particular solenoid so therefor you ruled out some things. How about disconnecting the plug to the BAC when the clicking is occuring and see what happens. And how many solenoids did you unplug in your search to identify where the clicking is coming from?

I disconnected the switching and relief solenoids. I will check the bac as soon as possible. I was told by a friend that it may be that an injector or two may be bad?

Problem solved. It was a mix of one bad injector, Accelerated Warm up system solenoid, and something in the throttle body.
