Lightbulb Problems with 15amp engine fuse rx7 fc

I have been having problems with my engine fuse (15amp). I can drive and the car will work fine. But every now and then it will blow if i hit a bumb in the road. Very temperamental when it blows. It has a haltech ecu so it has died end harness clips. Whould like some help with opinions on what it could be so i can find the problem easier.
Thankyou

that fuse powers both the ECU and the fuel pump, sounds like during your mods and hacks that the wire is in contact with some sharp sheet metal somewhere.

even if you aren't using the stock wiring for either of those anymore, they still run to those locations.

Also it fused when i shut the bonnet. Is there any wires near the front that could cause it to fuse

I am gonna toss out a wild guess....are you ready???
Your Battery is put in the holder Backwards.
If the posts are at the outside of the car then the hood would have a chance to short the circuit out and blow the fuse.

Check that out..the posts should be closest to the Fan/front of engine.
