So I have an 80 that has a very used driver's seat that needs replacing. The plan is to replace driver and passenger to match. I used to have a Miata and lots of Miata people use lotus Elise probax seats with pretty good success. My question is has anybody done this in an fb/sa. I've searched and haven't found much. I'm curious about the width and height being good. Also I see people modify fc rails to fit in fb's with fc seats. Would it benefit me to modify fc brackets to fit them in?

 

I assume it would not be too difficult to put them in. Grab a pair of them and then you'll have to fab mounts so they bolt up but it really should not be that hard.
