problem help

hey guys new to the rotory i just got a 94 rx7 and ever time i start it the car die out on me. also its really hard to start the car and when i do i have to keep hiting gas for it to run do i need a new motor???

Could be a big vacuum leak or low compression. Test compression first and rule it out if you're unfamiliar with the car. Any additional info on how the car ran prior to this?

Also check the map sensor hose. It's against the firewall above the oil filter. If that's disconnected from the manifold it will act like a blown motor.

ya i checked for leaks and i dont have any. am going to do the compression test this weekend ill let u know how that goes
