My Primary Fuel Rail/Pulsation Dampener has decided it would rather be my Primary Fuel Fountain.
Mazdatrix sells them for $226. A member here will sell me one for $20.
Am I asking for trouble by trying to save a little money?
Should I just shell out for the new one and hopefully not need to worry about my PD for 60k more miles?
Are the Mazdatrix PD's new or refurb'd? Can they be rebuilt in the first place?
It might look like 4 questions, but really, it's new? or used?

Never buy a used PD. Always replace it with a new one.

 

+1, I've always been told the same thing. It's better to replace the PD with a new one than worry about it failing and causing massive damage i.e. engine fire, etc.

 

Or put it this way... is your car worth $226 or $20???
