BC Possible Mazdaspeed tuned RX7?

Just wondering if anybody knows anything about a badge on the back of my car. As far as I can tell Mazdaspeed didn't really muck around much with the RX7s but my FD has a Mazdaspeed tuned badge on the back with a serial number of some sorts. Have included a picture of the badge. I get the feeling that it is just something somebody stuck on the back for ***** and giggles.

That is my understanding on it also. The only thing is that Mazdaspeed (far as I know) avoided RXs as a general rule. So its a little puzzleing to me as to why the badge is on the back.

Have no idea about that badge. I've never heard of or seen anything like that.
But MAZDASPEED didn't ignore the FD. They did make several parts....front and rear shock tower braces, Power Plant Frames, shift and ebrake *****, wheels, etc. Most seem to be just appearance items, but some were more serious, like stiffer suspension bushings and coilover sets. I don't think all were made available in North America, but they were produced.

Could be interesting to know about this as it seem to be quite rare!

Awesome well thats a start. Far as I can tell nothing has been touched by Mazdaspeed car is stock other than an ARC Air intake, and some 3 inch exhaust leading to Kakimoto muffler (unsure if the rest of the exhaust is Kakimoto or not). Going to keep trying to research and see if I can find anything else. Would be kinda neat if Mazdaspeed had mucked around with it (Still not confident they did but I don't want to take it right of the table yet).

its just a badge. if mazdaspeed tuned the car you would have more mazdaspeed parts on it.

I'll know for sure if it doesnt have any Mazdaspeed stuff on it once I can have a look underneath and see whats going on with the suspension. What I have read else where (not going to say this is valid just something I read) is that if you where to order a preformance part be it, engine or suspension, that Mazdaspeed would include a badge like the one on the bake of my car for you to mount on the car along with your new part. Just thought I'd throw that out there for anybody else who has a badge like this on their car and needs a direction to look in. Again something I read not saying its fact or anything just what I have been able to find on the subject.
