need help with major fuel leak

have a major fuel leak. i replaced a blown hose that i thought was the problem. it was under the intake on the right side of the engine. it was so bad it was spraying on the firewall. it is now a much smaller leak. i did pop off another line that i thought may have been a low pressure line in the process of taking the old line off. the line seems to have a fuel filter on it. i did not take the intake off because i am in a small town and i cant get gaskets in a reasonable amount of time. and i dont want to mess anything up because i need to drive home and head back out to iraq in just over a week.

any ideas would b greatly appreciated. thanks..

It sounds like you have a 2nd gen?

Did you tighten up all the clamps?

You can run the fuel pump without running the engine. Jumper the yellow test connector near the passenger airbox. That will cause the pump to run anytime the key is on "IGN". Now turn the key to IGN and observe the location of the leak.

If you had one line that was bad, then your others are probably on the way out. Replace both the feed and return lines and their associated clamps. Don't forget that small line which runs between the hard line and fuel filter.
