Honestly unless you have another reason, if you are considering going turbo, then start with the TII engine. It will save you a lot of work.

Or, start with the turbo first and don't bother bridgeporting. You'll make more power with a minor turbo upgrade and your fuel mileage won't stink.

I drove one for 2 years it wasn't that hard at all. Tuning was a bit of a bitch with high comp. rotors, ect. All you really have to do is mod a t2 LIM for the 5&6th ports, it look me like a half a day (with the help of an African with a router and a good friend who can

I would love to see yours...
All it takes is what I mentioned above. Once you have a T2 manifold on your 6port motor you can use ANY turbo setup that would normally fit a T2.
Honestly you don't even have to put a turbo intake on it, you can use a spacer to move the turbo farther out and remove some of the **** off of the N/A intake. The space gets kind of cramped though and you'll probably want a bigger turbo later anyway.

I didn't say it was hard, I just said in many cases it is not worth the effort.

I do happen to know just a little bit about 6 port turbos, incidentally.

From looking at your pictures on your webpage I would say so...

I would never buy a kit anyways.. I like to make my own stuff if I can, So amodified t2 header and a custom Intake then the normal turbo stuff?

What is a good ECU to run... The t2 or?

I have a deal working on the 5 letter car with the s5 6 port so it looks like this is the one for me... Just trying to get things laid out..

Oh I have access to a HX-50 turbo... Decent for starters?

If you port match the TII lower intake to the 6 port block, you can then use all TII parts. Use the TII upper, and then any kit that is designed for the TII will work on the engine. If you are going to fabricate stuff, I suggest keeping the NA lower intake as it mates up to the 6 port block a LOT easier. Unless you want to totally weld up the TII 4 port intake flange and then re-machine it for the 6 port engine, going with the NA lower will flow better. Then you can either use the NA upper (not a good idea for a bridgeport), make your own, or adapt the TII upper (all you need to do is make a spacer).

Don't even bother considering any of the stock ECUs. You're well into standalone territory.

I'm not familiar with the Holset turbos so I really can't say.

I think parts for that turbo are cheap, I think that turbo is from a dodge turbo diesel right? I used a Garrett from a 97-03 powerstroke and it worked decently for a while. Also RX7_nut on here is using a turbo from a diesel bulldozer or something.

I'm sure it'll work fine, you'll have to make a custom turbo manifold and like aaron cake said, if you can make it fit with the n/a intake you won't even have to port match the T2 LIM.
Just be carefull to keep the oil feed above the oil return and the oil retun hole on teh turbo above the oil level in the pan.... this is important, trust me i know.

Oil return below the level of the pan makes no difference. My car has been running fine for 8 years with the return below the level. Several of my friend's cars are the same way and it is making no difference. I'm working on a 6 port GSL-SE turbo right now and I just installed the return below the oil level.

Wouldn't turboing an NA 13B bridgeport be a pita to tune due to the 5th and 6th extra ports?
