Question Polishing parts

Is there any kind of company/store/group that polishes parts like (Turbos,Intake manifold, waterpump, altenators etc....) anything that can be polished and look brand new (I need this for car-shows) Thanks

Yellowpages, newspaper classifieds or the regional board here on this website will have the person or company who can do this for you, Hit the "Reading threads" to get up to speed on the rules and nuances of this website and once you've replied that you've read each thread (as the instructions say), your post count should be able to get you the ability to interact with the members of the Mountain RX-7 Forum board found:

You can do this yourself with an inexpensive drill buffer attachment, a few polishing cloths, and some good polish. You don't really need a shop unless sandblasting, plating, anodizing, powder coating, ceramic coating, or some other finish is required.

I don't know. In my experience it was really tedious and time consuming. And you'll have some expense. For what I ended up paying a shop to do it for me, it was money well spent IMO. But then I have some arthritis too, so it hurt some.
Still, while some out there might be really good at it, at least locally I have yet to see a do-it-yourself polish job look as good as my pro job.

After reading an article on how to do it yourself in Car Craft back in the 80's, I took a shot at polishing the alternator for my '68 Firebird by hand.

Tell you what, there was a lot of blood all over it after a couple of days.
