Plugs, wires and igniters

I bought a 88 vert as a drivable project car and have replaced the plugs and now I see I need to replace the plug wires as well.

Any suggestions or advice on how not to do it?

BUR7EQ's on the bottom(leading plugs) and BUR9EQ NGK plugs on the top(trailing Plugs)
if in doubt about wires just change them one at a time.you will be fine

The OEM wires from Mazda are NGK and come with T1, T2, L1, L2 in raised lettering on the ends of the wire so you cant mix them up. They are blue and red and look pretty good in the engine bay too lol

Just take one plug wire off at a time and replace it. Simplest and easiest way to not mess it up.

When I bought the wires for my 88 vert last summer both pairs were blue wires, one pair had red boots, one pair had blue boots. Maybe they changed them? I don't think they would be any different between US and CAN. It's more likely they change from s4 to s5 though.

NC What do you know

It works if you put them in correctly and don't use cheap wires...

All is well, I bought a set of accel wires and replaced all 4 plugs, what do you know the damn thing fired right up

Thanks for all the advice - even the sarcasm...
