Plugs, wires and igniters
Plugs, wires and igniters
I bought a 88 vert as a drivable project car and have replaced the plugs and now I see I need to replace the plug wires as well.
Any suggestions or advice on how not to do it?

The OEM wires from Mazda are NGK and come with T1, T2, L1, L2 in raised lettering on the ends of the wire so you cant mix them up. They are blue and red and look pretty good in the engine bay too lol
Just take one plug wire off at a time and replace it. Simplest and easiest way to not mess it up.
the boot connectors are black for leading and blue for trailing.
my 1990 gxl has all blue wires with the t1, t2, ect marks on the wires.
