Plug question

Changing my plugs for the first time and I guess I'm gonna have to grind the socket down to make it fit the plug? Running bg10eg NGk plugs. Anyone know if someone makes a socket for it?

BTW, when posting a question it helps to know what year/generation of RX7 you're asking about....in your case a FD (94). It's easiest to just list that in your signature so you don't forget.

So instead of paying anywhere from 43 - 102 $ just get a regular 13/16 spark plug socket. Take the little rubber boot out and walla.

???
then how does that help to push the socket past the extended manufactured half moon shaped LIP in the housing?

Only 2 ways for this.
#1 is get a thin walled socket
#2 is to grind the housing lip off so the socket will sit flush.

Actually 3..you can put another "washer" on the spark plug to raise it up a bit out of the hole..but then again that would put the spark further back into the housing.(so not really recommended).I did that in my N/A with Hot plugs just to pass the Emissions test.
