I have a 1988 Mazda RX7 that i recently bought i like the car alot and it runs pretty strong the only problem i have is that when im barely giving it throttle it will misfire/hesitate but when i press the throttle down more it stops hesitating ive changed the spark plugs the wires and the coils but it still does it im thinking it might be the TPS if any of you have had similar problems please help me out im a true RX7 fan and want to get mine running like a spotted ape so please help me with this.

To properly set the TPS the car needs to be driven for at least 20 minutes. After the engine is completely warmed up and hopefully idling about 750 rpm then the TPS can be set. W/key to on and all accesories turned off the Green/Red wire at the TPS needs to measure one volt DC. There is a screw incased in a spring on the front throttle linkage which is used to adjust the TPS. And the setting of the TPS needs to be done fairly quickly after the car is turned off and before the engine has a chance to cool down.

Why don't you try adjusting it to spec as it is rather simple unless you already tried.? And if you got a new one, it would still need to be dialed in properly.
